Choose the surface process
Rolled pattern, acid-etched finish and engraved design are different surface approaches. Similar-looking photographs may represent different products. Request a physical reference and describe the intended light and privacy effect rather than relying only on a trade name.
Test privacy in context
A texture obscures a view but does not necessarily conceal every outline. Lighting, distance and movement change what can be seen. Review a sample with the project team under realistic conditions, particularly for bathrooms, guestrooms and meeting areas.
Keep direction consistent
Flutes, waves and geometric patterns can be directional. Show orientation, panel sequence and the intended face on the drawings. At corners and door openings, consider how the pattern meets adjacent panels instead of treating each sheet in isolation.
Confirm the finished construction
Decoration does not establish safety performance. Ask whether the selected pattern is compatible with the required processing and confirm the final construction before ordering. Also discuss cleaning access and any exposed textured surfaces as part of the installation design.
General guidance, not a project design or a declaration of certified performance. Confirm the exact glass construction and documentation with the project team.
