WJ produces laminated glass with PVB, SGP and EVA interlayers in double, triple and multi-layer constructions. Confirmed glass make-ups range from 4 + 4 mm to 25 + 25 mm.
The available range includes ultra-clear, coloured-interlayer, curved and decorative laminated glass, as well as configurations using tempered or heat-strengthened plies.

Laminated Glass — Tested Construction & Results
CTC report QZ2025E09A15051 records CCC surveillance testing of architectural tempered laminated glass. All five tested items were assessed as conforming to GB 15763.3-2009.

Results apply to the specimens and test conditions identified in this report, not every laminated glass make-up or installed glazing system. The two impact tests were performed in the manufacturing laboratory under the TMP method recorded in the report. Radiation-resistance results are not a UV-blocking percentage or an absolute light-transmittance rating.

Choose the Right Construction for Your Project
Laminated glass bonds glass layers through an interlayer. The interlayer helps retain fragments if the glass breaks. The choice of glass, interlayer and support arrangement must follow the intended use; lamination alone is not a promise of structural, security or acoustic performance.
What to confirm before ordering
- State whether the priority is fragment retention, acoustic performance, appearance or a combination.
- Identify exposed edges and moisture conditions so the proposed interlayer and installation can be reviewed.
- For overhead glazing and barriers, provide the engineered glass schedule and support details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is laminated glass always soundproof?
No. Sound reduction depends on the complete construction, including glass thicknesses, interlayer, framing and seals. Request configuration-specific test evidence when an acoustic target applies.
Can a decorative layer be included?
Decorative laminated options are available within our artistic glass range. Share the desired material, reference and application for a compatibility review.
Does every laminate suit a balustrade?
No. The engineer must specify the complete system for the required loads and post-breakage behaviour.
