Product Overview
Clear float glass is flat glass formed on a molten-tin bath. Its relatively smooth surfaces make it a common substrate for further processing. Choose the base sheet together with the final safety, appearance and installation requirements; an unprocessed sheet is not equivalent to a finished safety-glazing product.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is clear float glass the same as ultra-clear glass?
No. Low-iron glass is selected when a more neutral appearance is important. Compare samples at the proposed thickness.
Can plain float glass replace tempered glass?
Not where the design requires tempered or other safety glazing. Follow the approved specification.
